Art as a Business
November 20, 2025 @ 1PM ET
Usually, most of us go into business to solve a problem or fill a need. We never anticipated we’d also have to be our own accountant, bookkeeper, human resources, insurance specialist, and personal assistant too! This workshop will help you set up your business to run like a machine. We’ll go deep on topics around taxes, business structure, bank accounts, etc. You know, the fun stuff :)

Make More Money This Year
January 15, 2026 @ 1PM ET
No more starving artists. No more overproducing in the hopes one will hit different. No more burnout. No more waiting. Be in control of how your art fits into your budget. Figure out how AND why you send invoices. Defeat impostor syndrome with spreadsheets. Look at the numbers. You’re probably a small business owner already. Treat yourself like a producer instead of a product and you’ll never have to compromise your art.

Office Hours with Pam & Dyalekt
February 26, 2026 at 1PM ET
We’re just going to say it - office hours can feel awkward. You feel embarrassed if you don’t have any questions, you feel embarrassed that your questions don’t sound “smart enough,” and so no one goes. We invite you to lean into this feeling and just come - come with no questions, come with questions that seem completely unrelated to finance, come with personal questions that you’re going to private chat to us while we read it anonymously and gush about how good the question was. CTNYC Office Hours are a place for us to be together, in this moment, and hold space for all the confusion, fear, shame, and heaviness so we can lighten each other’s load.

How to Heal Your Relationship to Money
April 16, 2026 at 1PM ET
Artists and money have a complicated relationship. You’re often caught between “if you make money from your art, you’re a sellout” and “if you don’t make a living off your art, are you really an artist?” Very few professions have such contradictory measures for success, so money conversations can be emotionally charged and difficult to have ❤️🩹
You are experts at creating something out of nothing and finding the beauty in hard things. You have dedicated your life’s work to doing things radically different and bringing your community with you. You push the edge so the center moves too. And your family still has no idea what your “job” is 🙃 We see you. We know you. We are you. Start healing your relationship with money so you can be the artist the world needs you to be.

How to Pay Down Your Debt and Still Have a Life
May 21, 2026 at 1PM ET
We’re just going to say it - this is the workshop that everyone signs up for but no one shows up for. We all have debt and we all think we’re the only ones who have it. The reality is, the credit and debt system is designed to keep you in their game for as long as possible. And the big cloud over this whole system is the blame and shame we’ve been fed because we “should have known better.” We’ll show you how the entire country systemically got pushed into debt and how you can manage your debt and still have a life.
